Ming-Chang Lu 呂明璋
Professor Ming-Chang Lu earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2010. He worked at National Chiao Tung University from 2010 to 2019 before joining the Mechanical Engineering department at National Taiwan University (http://www.me.ntu.edu.tw/) in August 2019, where he currently holds the position of Professor. In 2023, he was elected as a Fellow of the Asian Union of Thermal Science and Engineering (AUTSE), and in 2022, he was elected as a Fellow of the International Association of Advanced Materials (FIAAM). In 2015, he received the Distinguished Young Scholar award from the Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of the Republic of China and the Ta-You Wu Memorial (Distinguished Young Scholar) Award from Taiwan’s Ministry of Science and Technology. His research interests include micro/nanoscale heat transfer, phase-change heat transfer, anti-icing, and the Leidenfrost effect.

Chung-Te Huang 黃種得

Dr. Chung-Te Huang received his BS degree from Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Chao-Tung University in 2012. Also, Dr. Huang received his MS degree from the same department in 2014, under the guidance of Prof. Ming-Chang Lu. Then He has been a Thermal Engineer at Vivotek Inc. from 2014 to early 2018. In late 2018, he started his Ph.D program and received the Ph.D degree from Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Taiwan University in 2022. Currently, he is the postdoctoral researcher, aiming on micro/nano device fabrication and applications, phase-change heat transfer, such as Leidenfrost phenomenon or boiling effect. He has several published literatures from the notable journals, such as international journal of heat and mass transfer, SMALL, etc.

Dr. Wei-Tzu Peng received his BS degree from Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Chiao Tung University (NCTU), and went further into his research. In 2023, he received his Ph.D degree from Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU). He is currently a postdoctoral researcher, focusing on the investigation of the intrinsic thermal and electrical properties of metal nanowires, as well as the heat dissipation ability of reduced graphene oxide thin films.

Dr. Saumyadwip Bandyopadhyay has done his bachelor from Institution from Engineers (India). He received his Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers, India (AMIE)) in Mechanical engineering in the year 2011. Dr. Saumyadwip Bandyopadhyay received his M.Tech. degree from Mechanical Engineering Department, of Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur under the guidance of Prof. Suman Chakraborty in the year 2014. He also did his PhD from the same institute under the joint supervision of Prof. Suman Chakraborty and Prof. Rabibrata Mukherjee. He got his PhD from the Advanced Technology Development Center of IIT Kharagpur in the year 2022. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow working on Pool boiling and Flow boiling phenomenon, with a focus on enhancing the heat transfer phenomenon using structured and chemically treated metallic surfaces.
